Even though we spent it buried in snow, I have hope that better weather will get here soon, because this week saw Pitchers and Catchers Report Day! If baseball is starting, it means it's just about spring and summer is just around the corner, right?

It was also Valentine's Day this week! Did you do anything special to celebrate? Hubby and I went out for the first time in at least ten years. Now that Luke is old enough to babysit, it means we don't have to get involved in the babysitter wars. We had a wonderful dinner at a restaurant not terribly far from our house, and really enjoyed each other's company. (Oh, and not having to hide the silverware, mop up spills, etc.)

Relaxed Homeschooling from Mom's Heart
We're a bit "relaxed" here as well. Brittney could be describing our family -- "structured but not scheduled," and choosing curriculum based on what fits the student, not necessarily what gets the most people fired up about it.
Do you plan your meals in advance? I'm trying to get back in the habit of it, so that I don't stand in front of the fridge, brain dead and hoping for inspiration to strike. I can just say "Tuesday, we're having this." Many Water shared a pin for February meal planning. Some of the ideas sound delicious - I may have to add them to my own menu!
