Sunday Sharing Pinterest Party - Week 15

Hey everybody!  It's time for another party!

 First, I have a request!

A homeschooling Mama friend of mine has a little girl, Frieda, who is working with her friend Hannah on a Girl Scout Service Project to collect Chanukah Cards for Jewish American Soldiers.  Not only are these soldiers away from home on Chanukah, a time for celebrating the Miracle of Lights with their family, but the first night of Chanukah is Thanksgiving.  Let's show them how thankful we are for them by helping Freida and Hannah brighten their day!

The girls ask that you send cards by November 14th.  They are partnering with Aleph Institute, who will help make sure they get to the soldiers. Send your cards to:

If you would share this with your friends - no matter what their faith - it would help show our service men and women just how special they are!!  Thank you!

All of last week's pins have been added to my Sunday Sharing Pinterest Party Board. Be sure to check it out to find both last week's pins as well as all the others from prior weeks!  It's filling up with tons of great things!

Some of my favorites from last week:

A brilliant paint idea from Domain of the Mad Mommy

I usually use a paper plate, but the colors run together! I'm going to need to get some ice cube trays!

It's hard to say "Congratulations" to someone else through your "I didn't make it" tears, but

from This Sweet Life reminds us how important it is to be a good sport.

Finally, November is a fantastic time to do a unit study on corn!

Living Montessori Now shared a unit that explores all the properties of corn.

Thanks to everyone who shared last week!  After so many great Halloween ideas the last few weeks, I'm looking forward to what people have planned for Thanksgiving, Chanukah, and Christmas!!
